Evelyn Yu

A native New Yorker, Evelyn holds a B.A. in Political Science, with a focus on International Relations and Business Management, from Columbia University. She has been dancing ballet for over 15 years, beginning her training at New York Theatre Ballet School, and continued performing throughout college with the Columbia University Ballet Ensemble, appearing in major productions such as Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty. At Columbia, she served as Managing Editor of the Columbia Political Review and was recognized as a 2024 Hamilton National Fellow and a 2025 Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies Scholar. Her academic and professional focus on foreign policy led her to Washington, D.C., where she worked as an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Evelyn has a passion for health, writing, and curating beauty in her everyday life. On the weekends, you will find her decorating her room with fresh flowers and working on her newly launched Substack in cozy coffee shops throughout NYC.
