With crisper, cooler mornings comes the feminine urge to buy anything that falls in the realm of “cozy.” But before you hit “checkout” on your latest Aritzia order, emptying your savings account in the process, let’s take a look at what’s truly necessary for this in-between season.

Hang on to those basic neutral tees, blouses, and dresses; their time to shine isn’t over. To transition your outfits from mid-90’s, sunny days to 70’s spooky season, all you need is a few options to layer with and accessorize. This includes: a classic cardigan, knit crewneck, a trench coat, ballet flats, loafers, boots (or booties), a leather bag, and a pair of flattering jeans.

For the most bang for your buck, you’ll want to stick with classic, neutral colors like white, cream, black, and beige so you can mix and match easily and effortlessly. But if you’re into bold colors and patterns, feel free to swap out these timeless styles with something a little more eye-catching. Let’s get into some of my favorite options for the 2024 fall season!
