Not all pretty is created equal. Some faces are made for sexy magazine covers (blonde bombshells with curves that defy logic); others are for Pinterest mood boards titled "ethereal girlies.” By now, you're aware of this TikTok-popularized debate of girl pretty vs. boy pretty.

Boy pretty women are the sirens who turn heads in public. Their sex appeal is undeniable. Their beauty feels mainstream, commercial, and sultry. The features are classic but not necessarily exotic, like Kate Upton, Scarlett Johansson, or Christina Hendricks.

Girl pretty, on the other hand, is a bit more nuanced. These women might be seen as soft, quirky, whimsy, classically pretty, or even unconventional. Some of them are natural and appear untouched; they make the girls say, "Wait, I have her nose!” While others are more aspirational and give off the '90s model vibes. They're usually trendsetters and inspire haircuts and outfits – think Bella Hadid or Zendaya.

Lastly, there are universals. They are universally admired and aspirational. No one debates their beauty. Here are some examples.
