Trump Survives Assassination Attempt—Mainstream Media Downplays Violence, Liberals Claim It's "Staged"
Former President Donald Trump has survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania. In response, mainstream media outlets are deceiving their audiences about what actually happened and liberals online are claiming the shooting was "staged."
According to initial reports, a lone gunman climbed a roof and fired multiple shots at Trump during his Pennsylvania rally. He missed every shot, but a bullet hit Trump's ear.
Trump ducked briefly before being surrounded by Secret Service members. When he arose, his face was blood-splattered, but he paused before exiting the stage and raised his fist.
"Fight!" he told the audience before exiting and later confirming his health and safety.
Despite images of the bullets whizzing by Trump's head, numerous reports from witnesses, the literal blood on his face, and two victims (one rally attendee and the suspect) most mainstream media outlets have chosen to downplay the violence by calling it "an interruption" and spending paragraphs speculating whether or not the "pops" and "loud noises" heard by the audience were actually gunshots.
Also disturbing is the fact that it took President Biden over an hour to address the attempted assassination.
When Biden finally did make a statement, many were quick to respond that he is largely responsible for the widespread propaganda that has increasingly incited violence from liberals who believe Trump and his supporters are "fascists" and "a threat to democracy."
Many liberals online were much quicker to respond than Biden, with many lamenting that the shooter "missed" while others insisted it was "staged" despite the confirmed deaths and the testimony of multiple witnesses.
Many Americans have expressed outrage at these claims, accusing liberals and the media of hatred and an ongoing lack of accountability for their hyperbolic rhetoric and the violence it has caused.
As the investigation continues, the way the media and many liberals have responded highlights the danger of their political ideology and why more people must fight against it.
In contrast, Trump's response demonstrated incredible courage in the face of their escalating attacks.
