YouTuber James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson, professionally known as MrBeast, finally broke his silence about co-host Ava Kris Tyson's grooming allegations. This week, Tyson made headlines for having inappropriate conversations with minors, according to reports.

MrBeast finally addressed the Tyson situation on social media, stating that he will hire an investigator to "ensure" he has all the "facts." In the meantime, he has removed Tyson from the company. "Over the last few days, I’ve become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson's behavior online, and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts," MrBeast tweeted.

"During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts," he continued. "That said, I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast. I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions."

"I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings," he said.

MrBeast Comments on 14-Year-Old Bhad Bhabie

MrBeast fueled even more outrage when a resurfaced video showed him making a sexual comment about rapper and influencer Bhad Bhabie when she was 14. When the hosts of the Hot Wet Soup podcast brought up a discussion about Bhad Bhabie, who they dubbed the "catch me outside girl," MrBeast can be heard asking, "Let's be real, you wouldn't put your d*ck in her?"

He later added, "I wouldn't do it, she's way too young." However, fans shortly came to the YouTuber's defense, stating that this comment was just an "edgy joke" and an offensive comment he wanted to make for fun that people could take "out of context."

In addition to the allegations of grooming and pedophilia, Tyson was noted to have a fondness for drawings of young, sexualized children. In an old video, MrBeast is seen in Tyson's room, where an inappropriate drawing by Shadman is displayed on his wall. Shadman is an artist known for his pornographic art and comics, some of which feature minors. Is it possible that MrBeast has known about Tyson's actions all along and is only speaking out now to save face?

"'I’ve become aware' lol this pic is at least 7 years old. stinky this is not looking good for you," @Slatsizm tweeted, with an image of MrBeast in the same room as Tyson's Shadman drawing.

Tyson has publicly apologized for his comments and past behaviors. "I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone," he wrote on X/Twitter. "It was not my intent. Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health."

Meanwhile, MrBeast's fans are rallying to support him amid the controversy.
