Her farm is home to goats, sheep, cows, donkeys, and her therapy dog, Winnie. “You think animals are peaceful. You think the South is peaceful. You think this place is peaceful. But there’s so much chaos. My animals are loud, and it’s messy, and my dogs are crazy,” she admitted. “And there is, you know, laughter and a lot of passion and excitement, and it is a very vibrant place. There is so much chaos, and that is where I thrive.” Brown is serious about her animals and has been taking animal-focused courses at Purdue University. She has big plans to apply her knowledge in a hands-on externship. “I’m able to treat wounds, take their pulse, moderate blood pressure, things like that. I do all their medical records myself,” she said. She’s also involved in animal rescue through her foundation, Joey’s Friends, where she helps save dogs from kill shelters and find them forever homes. “Adoption campaigns are wonderful temporarily, but you really have to get in there and do the work to make a difference,” she said. Ignoring the Hate Bongiovi and Brown’s relationship has been under scrutiny since they got engaged in 2023.
