For the last three years, the American people have been lied to, coerced into making personal medical decisions, and gaslit about very basic information pertaining to a virus that lies at the heart of a pandemic. Various experts got on national television to scold citizens about wearing a mask and getting the coronavirus vaccine in order to "protect" our neighbors, without providing science to back up their claims. The gaslighting only got worse when the vaccine was released and many people lost their job because they didn't feel comfortable taking a shot that didn't have longterm testing. Dr. Leana Wen, a physician who used to be a talking head for Planned Parenthood, is a CNN analyst who has been on just about every major news show to fearmonger about coronavirus and even try to convince parents to vaccinate their young children. Her tune has changed recently, though, and she recently wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post about the important difference between dying from Covid and dying with Covid, a distinction that many of us have pointed out for the last few years.
