Is Brigitte Macron Actually A Man?—What You Need To Know
We're looking into Candace Owens' series on Brigitte Macron – here’s the most insane thing she’s uncovered about France’s First Lady.

Emmanuel Macron was a brilliant student who fell head-over-heels for a "hot," older (much older) teacher, Brigitte. They shouldn't have worked with a 25-year age gap, but somehow, they did, and unbelievably, they’re now the President and First Lady of France. The French media painted their president’s strange love story as romantic. I know this next question will sound crazy to the uninitiated, but what if France’s mainstream media fabricated this story to distract its people from something far darker?
You’ve probably heard about Candace Owens’s latest exposé by now. Love her or hate her, her journalism is solid, and Candace’s controversial series leans on the work of French journalist Xavier Poussard. Every week, she reports her findings on the Macrons through her viral live streams on YouTube. Candace believes that France’s first lady is a biological man. Not only is Brigitte supposedly trans, but she might also be Emmanuel’s father. If all of this turns out to be true (and it’s beginning to look like it is to the public), it wouldn’t be surprising for France to roll out a full-scale media operation to keep people from learning the truth about their government.
That said, diving into a new series – a deep rabbit hole, if you will – can be fun but very overwhelming. So, if you haven’t had the chance to listen to the series, here is a breakdown that’s easy to follow.
Please note that not every minor detail will be included in this article, such as Emmanuel allegedly inventing a language in his autobiography that his grandmother supposedly spoke or instances where he has relied on his wife for answers to questions he should know. However, we will still try to give you the run-down.
Episode 1: Gaslighting the Public
Candace opens the stream by saying that after announcing this series, her website was hit with DDOS attacks, and she received a legal threat from Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron’s team.
Brigitte & Emmanuel’s Age Gap
The French media created a narrative around Brigitte Macron as a passionate teacher who fell in love with Emmanuel Macron. Candace explains that the press repeatedly romanticized their story to the public (this is all confirmed by Poussard). Allegedly, the media falsely reported that Macron was 17 when their relationship began, while she insists he was actually 15 and Brigitte was 39. She describes this as an “objectively a very creepy story,” and we have to agree.
She showed photos of Brigitte when she was around that age, and she definitely was not the seductive, attractive woman that the media had portrayed her to be. Interesting to note is that Brigitte also wore a scarf in many photos – is it possible that she was hiding an Adam’s apple?
Emmanuel’s Favorite Author and Pedophilia
Emmanuel Macron’s favorite author is André Gide, an admitted pederast who wrote about raping Muslim boys in Algeria. The French press romanticized Brigitte and Macron’s story as “love triumphing over conformity” rather than acknowledging what she sees as grooming.
Emmanuel's Influence & Power
Brigitte and Emmanuel are surrounded by powerful figures, including billionaire Xavier Niel (linked to Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH) and PR agent Michèle "Mimi" Marchand, who helped craft Brigitte’s public image. Once you’re done with this article, you must read our pieces on fashion brands and their alleged ties to pedophilia.
Control Over Press & Images
Candace says Mimi Marchand controlled Brigitte’s visual representation through the Best Image agency, ensuring only carefully curated pictures were released. There seem to be many figures close to Brigitte who have questionable pasts. Xavier Niel, for example, was arrested for aggravated pimping in 2004 (charges later dropped). Marchand has been accused of blackmail, and coercion and served two years in prison. Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, another billionaire close to Brigitte, had a son convicted of child pornography possession multiple times.
Brigitte’s Stylist
Candace also connects Brigitte to the stylist Nicolas Ghesquière (a French-Belgian fashion designer who worked as the women's creative director of the house of Louis Vuitton – owned by LVMH) and transgender advocacy in fashion. She then presents a legal letter from the Macrons’ team, claiming they avoid directly answering whether Brigitte was born female. What’s funny is that Candace asked basic yes-or-no questions, including, “Was Brigitte born a biological male?” and “Did First Lady Brigitte Macron give birth to three children?”
Episode 2: An Inaccessible Past
French Media Responds
Naturally, the French press is labeling her investigation as a “transphobic conspiracy theory.” But going back to Brigitte’s alleged backstory, Candace argues that mainstream media crafted an image of Brigitte as a rebellious, irresistibly attractive young woman who defied Catholic norms. Articles describe Brigitte as a “party girl” in mini skirts, dancing to rock music, and captivating young men, including the young Emmanuel Macron.
Despite all of these claims, there are almost no childhood or young adult photos of Brigitte. The earliest "official" images in biographies and documentaries only date back to her 40s. If her persona was so well-documented, why are there no photos?
Brigitte’s “Fake” Backstory
A documentary about Brigitte aired on a French state-owned channel, also failed to provide any early life photos except for a few. The filmmaker, Virginie Linhart, allegedly struggled to obtain information and was heavily monitored by Brigitte’s team, who approved all images through the Best Image agency (controlled by Mimi Marchand).
A childhood communion photo of Brigitte surfaced, but many people online believe it resembles her daughter, Tiphaine, rather than Brigitte herself.
Brigitte’s First Husband is a “Ghost”
Brigitte’s ex-husband, André-Louis Auzière, who was supposedly married to her for 32 years and fathered her three children, is strangely absent from public records. The only available photo of him turned out to be a misattributed picture of a teacher from Macron’s old school. Three decades of marriage and there are hardly any photographs of Brigitte’s husband and their family. Strange. There was one photo of her and her husband on their wedding day, but it doesn't look like Brigitte. Face recognition technology suggests that Brigitte and the woman in the picture are not the same person.
Jean-Michel (Brigitte's brother) is present in the wedding picture as he is the best man. Somehow, he disappeared after Brigitte became the first lady. Where is he?
It gets crazier. A Trogneux family photo (Brigitte’s maiden name) resurfaced. In it, there is a little girl who is claimed to be Brigitte. However, Candace points out that while Brigitte’s older brother is well-documented, a second, unidentified young boy appears on the left of the image. Many believe he looks more like Brigitte than the girl in the photo.
The Mystery of Jean-Michel Trogneux
Google will tell you that Brigitte has a brother named Jean-Michel Trogneux, though not much is known about him. Candace speculates that, perhaps, Brigitte was Jean-Michel prior to transitioning...however, Jean-Michel has a son named Jean-Jacques who looks a lot like Emmanuel. What is going on here? How is it possible that Emmanuel looks like Brigitte's alleged nephew when they're completely unrelated?
Is it possible that Brigitte was Jean-Michel and is the father of both Jean-Jacques and Emmanuel? So far, this is what the internet thinks.
You thought that was weird? Brigitte did not simply transition from Jean-Michel Trognoux, but is believed to have assumed someone else's identity entirely – his sister.
Episode 3: The Timeline Cracks
Another Disturbing Book and More on Emmanuel's Family
Candace talks about Emmanuel's autobiography, in which he writes about his grandmother, Germaine Noguès, often. She then mentions a book that Emmanuel apparently loved growing up called The Erl-King by Michel Tournier. One excerpt reads, "Children's buttocks are alive, quivering, always alert..." I'll just stop there.
Emmanuel Macron’s parents are François Macron-Noguès and Jean-Michel. François, his mother, helped with gender transitions while his father was a psychiatrist. He was also a professor of medicine. Interestingly enough, French journalist Proussard reveals Sylvain Telesfort, the President of the "Institute for Intersexuality and Hermaphorditism Association of Europe" transitioned from male to female. The person who gave him administrative support in his gender transition was Dr. François Macron, Emmanuel's mother.
Suspiciously Inconsistent Birth Records
There are many inconsistencies in Brigitte Macron’s documented birth year, and the official biographies and media reports provide conflicting timelines. Candace suggests that records may have been altered to fit a curated narrative. She also talked about the mysterious second boy in the Trogneux family photo, who was never publicly acknowledged until researchers dug into genealogy records.
Again, Candace claims that any attempts to investigate Brigitte’s past are met with stonewalling, media suppression, and legal threats. This level of control over public records is highly unusual.
No Medical Records of Childbirth
Despite official claims that Brigitte gave birth to three children, there also doesn’t seem to be any public medical records, interviews, or direct testimonies to confirm that she was ever pregnant. Brigitte’s alleged children rarely speak about their mother’s past, and Tiphaine (her daughter) is the only one who actively defends her. This is obviously unusual for a well-connected, upper-class French family.
Candace shares that Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron’s legal team continues to send her letters but still refuses to directly state that Brigitte was born biologically female.
Brigitte’s Ex-Husband’s Death and Other Weird Details
Andre’s funeral was orchestrated at lightning speed just four days after his death, with the Élysée Palace apparently pulling the strings to keep things under wraps. He had supposedly planned an escape to Africa prior to his death, as tickets were found in his jacket pocket. He also took out all of his money out from the bank. Before that, he lived a life of isolation, cutting off ties with his old banking friends and slipping into obscurity. Brigitte, supposedly his wife of 32 years and mother of their children, didn’t bother to show up. Nearly all photos of Andre were systematically destroyed, leaving only a couple of remnants. It’s almost as if someone wanted to erase him entirely.
Episode 4: The Paper Trail Vanishes
In the beginning of the episode, Candace states that Emmanuel's mother does not see Brigitte as a daughter-in-law. "For me, Brigitte is not a daughter-in-law," she told an author.
"What is the implication of that? What else could the First Lady be to you?" Candace asks.
Again, official documents related to Brigitte Macron’s education and early career are either missing, inconsistent or strangely vague. Candace argues that records of her time as a teacher, as well as her supposed early professional life, lack proper verification. It’s also odd that no former classmates or hospital staff have ever come forward with stories about Brigitte’s early life.
The Véronique Connection
We go into the story of Véronique, an anonymous transgender who, in a 1977 interview, went on-air and talked about transitioning.
And here’s where the connection turns bizarre. Jean-Michel Trogneux – the person many claim transitioned to become Brigitte – married a woman named Véronique Drew. The marriage, which took place in 1980, was so private that the local newspaper noted it happened “in the strictest privacy.” Did Jean-Michele go on TV and take his wife, Véronique's, name?
The Emmanuel Macron Puzzle
As you know by now, Emmanuel is a man whose rise to power is riddled with oddities:
He failed to gain entry into the elite ENA school twice, then suddenly got in without even completing the required oral exam.
His classmates were so confused by his top ranking that they protested, leading to the first-ever cancellation of the school’s rankings.
His meteoric rise in the Rothschild Bank baffled colleagues who described him as not particularly skilled.
His inexplicable connections to the Rothschilds can't be ignored. Candace references reports that his rise was facilitated by David de Rothschild himself, who allegedly ensured Macron’s elevation despite his lack of financial expertise.
And we’re supposed to believe that he was fit to be a president?
Episode 5: Unraveling the Official Story
In Episode 5 of Becoming Brigitte, Candace Owens recaps and expands the Véronique mystery. She also again questions Brigitte’s childhood photos, which AI software suggests may not belong to the current First Lady. Meanwhile, Emmanuel Macron’s rapid rise to power is expanded upon, including his controversial Rothschild Bank promotion and deep ties to elites.
Becoming Brigitte: Candace Owens x Xavier Poussard | Ep 6
Now we're at Candace Owens' interview with Xavier, his first on-camera interview, which you can watch below. He goes over how the French media painted the Macrons in a positive light, other journalists who looked into Brigitte, how he conducts his research and more.
This brings us to today. Was Emmanuel groomed and abused by Brigitte, allegedly his own father? Perhaps their relationship isn’t sexual at all but rather a carefully constructed façade, with Brigitte acting as the president by proxy. Either way, both the French and Americans are demanding answers.
