Millions of Americans got the mRNA vaccine. Some of them did it under pressure to stay employed. Others opted for the shot because they believed it would boost their immune system. Years after the pandemic, women began speaking out about the complications they began experiencing after receiving the jab.

“I Made the Sacrifice… and Now I Have Hashimoto’s”

One woman who goes by "Lexie" on X says she got the vaccine due to the nature of her job. She worked with the elderly and decided to make a sacrifice. "i got the vax because i was working with the elderly and though the novelty of mrna made me nervous, i made the sacrifice. and now i have hashimoto's," she wrote.

“Undiagnosed Cardiovascular Symptoms Because of the Vaccine”

A commenter named Louise decided to she her experience. She revealed that she now has "undiagnosed cardiovascular symptoms because of the vaccine."

Louise added, "Doctors can’t find anything wrong and dismissed my symptoms as anxiety but I am 100% sure anxiety isn’t the reason for my palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, unexplained low ferritin, and weird dizziness."

Megyn Kelly’s Autoimmune Diagnosis

Conservative broadcaster Megyn Kelly doubled down on her regrets about getting the Covid-19 vaccine as well, saying she’s still testing positive for an autoimmune condition she believes may be linked to the shot.

“I really, really regret having gotten the vaccine,” she told the Daily Mail, calling her current health status “f—ing annoying.”

Kelly first discussed her diagnosis on The Megyn Kelly Show, explaining that her rheumatologist hasn’t been able to pinpoint the cause of her autoimmune issues, but confirmed it could be tied to the vaccine or booster. She took the Pfizer vaccine in 2020 and received a booster in 2021, later contracting COVID-19.

“I said [to the rheumatologist], could it be that I had the third shot—and then within a month of it, got the Omicron version? And she said, yes.”

Kelly says she felt pressured to get vaccinated while living in New York during the height of the pandemic. “You could get the fake cards, but it was hard. I didn’t know how to do it,” she admitted. “So, I trusted my doctors and I did it.”

A Wellness Blogger’s Long-Term Heart Pain

Katya Ann, the wellness blogger behind TheFitDelish, has opened up about her ongoing regret over receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, revealing long-term heart discomfort she says began immediately after her second Pfizer dose.

On her website, Katya explained that she originally resisted the vaccine due to its novelty and her low personal risk for COVID complications. “The reason I eventually succumbed to the endless pressure to get vaccinated was due to the travel restrictions,” she wrote. Katya got her first two Pfizer doses in 2021 ahead of a European trip, and later received a booster in 2022 in order to visit the Netherlands, where the country required a booster to bypass quarantine.

“Since I received the second dose of the vaccine, I immediately felt heart discomfort,” she wrote. “It feels like a constant dull inflammation and I just want to massage my heart out to get rid of it.”

Despite undergoing an EKG, echocardiogram, and bloodwork, all of which came back normal, she says the discomfort has persisted for over three years. A stress test is scheduled next. A former Division 1 tennis player, Katya emphasized she had no prior heart issues before the vaccine.

Frustrated by the lack of medical answers, she turned to independent research and highlighted a podcast episode featuring Dr. Peter McCullough, where he discusses a supplement protocol to address potential vaccine-related inflammation.

Katya ends her post by encouraging others experiencing similar symptoms to consult a doctor first, but also to explore available resources. “It’s expected, but discouraging at the same time to not get to the bottom of it from a doctor perspective,” she wrote.

A Congresswoman Speaks Out

During a House Oversight Committee hearing on Feb. 8, 2023, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) stated on the record that she experienced long-term side effects after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, specifically asthma and tremors, and now regrets getting the shot. “I have great regrets about getting the shot because of the health issues that I now have that I think are never going to go away,” Mace said during the hearing.

Millions of Americans took the mRNA vaccine. And now, years later, some are left with symptoms that can’t be diagnosed, validated, or explained. Instead of being heard, they're labeled "anti-vaxx" or "uninformed." How many women need to speak out before they are taken seriously?
