I’m A Fashion Editor—Here’s Everything I’m Buying For The Fall

There’s nothing quite like the first crisp, cool fall day for a true style maven. Slipping that chunky knit sweater over your freshly chopped and low-lighted bob, feeling your legs gripped by vintage denim, your toes gliding into soft, worn-in leather booties – it’s what dreams are made of.

We may love summer for its spontaneous, carefree attitude, but we’d be lying if we said that sweating through our sundress on even the mildest of August days was ideal. Not only that, but how truly creative can we get when the low for the day is reaching 90 degrees and even your bare-boned sandals are making your feet slip and slide?

Fall is decidedly fashion’s favorite child, and there’s no question as to why. It’s our chance to mix and match different fabrics, silhouettes, colors, and prints without falling ill to a heat stroke or hypothermia. Go ahead and throw a cropped leather jacket over your little white dress, shake things up with a knee-high, crocodile-embossed boot, and add an oversized hobo tote just to keep things interesting.

If, like me, you’re itching to start shopping for the upcoming season but you don’t know where to start, I’m sharing the wardrobe staples and trends currently in my shopping cart, on my wishlist, and in my screenshots for fall.
