Hailey Bieber Body Shamed Over Pregnant Belly: "Looks Like Humpty Dumpty"

Despite Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber asking fans to stop harassing the Rhode founder, Bieber still faces online bullying.

Following the Biebers' pregnancy announcement, the model is now getting body-shamed over her pregnant belly. "she's hideous and looks like humpty dumpy im smiling," wrote @tonightwalker on X/Twitter. The social media user shared a side-by-side of a paparazzi photo and a selfie and accused Bieber of using Photoshop.

Many people also called Bieber "fat" earlier this year, even though she was always slim.

The model has always been a subject of body shaming. On Addison Rae's podcast That Was Fun?, Bieber opened up about the comments on her gaining weight and how people would always compare her to her younger years. "I'm not 19 anymore. I'm 24 now. I feel like my body has changed the most, even this last year. And that's what happens," Bieber said at the time. "As you grow up and you become more of a woman, your body fills out in different ways. I think I have more hips now than I ever did when I was younger, and I can just tell that my body has changed a lot, and people are always being like, 'Oh, she put on a little bit of weight, looks good.'"

Bieber commented on the comments, claiming she "gained a massive amount of weight," which fueled pregnancy speculations back then. "It can just really, really, really be bad for your body image. And I definitely can say that when I come across any comments that have to do with my body... it throws me really off, which is why I don't look at comments," she added. "But obviously, sometimes like our curiosity gets the best of us, and it's really hard. It’s just bad for your mental health."

Every time a celebrity gets pregnant, they always face backlash over their body. The same thing happened to Rihanna, who criticized the audience for expecting her to "snap back" into shape after giving birth. Women in the spotlight may have it easy, but they'll always be too fat or too skinny to some people.

Regardless of the comments and attempts to bring her down, Bieber stays winning. In May 2024, Justin and Hailey Bieber announced they were expecting their first baby. The couple shared a sweet video that featured Bieber's baby bump during their vow renewal.

The new mom was recently spotted showing off her pregnancy, styled from head to toe. She's glowing.
