The First Person To Get Infected With Covid-19 Reportedly Worked At The Wuhan Institute
Patient zero has reportedly been identified as Ben Hu, a researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology – but are we really surprised?

It appears "patient zero" has been named. Wuhan scientist Ben Hu allegedly conducted risky tests at the Wuhan Institute of Virology alongside colleagues Ping Yu and Yan Zhu. Hu was the first to get sick, and the other two fell ill with Covid-like symptoms and required care for weeks until China reported the outbreak to the world. This revelation comes after official documents were revealed through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by the White Coat Waste Project.
"Our FOIA investigation and winning a lawsuit against the NIH have unveiled the pandemic’s ultimate smoking gun: the U.S. government-funded Wuhan gain-of-function experimenter Ben Hu – probable patient zero at the Wuhan Lab – and its wasteful spending on his reckless animal experiments almost certainly caused a lab leak and COVID," says White Coat Waste Project's president, Anthony Belotti.
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) showed grants listing Hu as an investigator for projects. In 2019, he was running a state-funded project to see whether or not two new coronaviruses could infect humans. Nice to know where our taxpayer money went. Hu was also a top deputy to Shi Zhengli, dubbed the "batwoman" in the virology world due to her studies of viruses involving bats.
In other news, the Times of London released new information about activity in the Wuhan Institute leading up to the global pandemic and found that Wuhan labs allegedly collaborated with Chinese military scientists. “In the lead-up to the pandemic, the Wuhan institute frequently experimented on coronaviruses alongside the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, a research arm of the People’s Liberation Army," Times of London said. “In published papers, military scientists are listed as working for the Beijing Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology, which is the military academy’s base.”
In 2020, Evie reported on a doctor named Dr. Li-Meng Yan, who worked at the P3 lab at the University of Hong Kong. The location is also a reference lab for the World Health Organization, specializing in influenza viruses and pandemics. According to Yan, she investigated a cluster of SARS-like cases in Wuhan back in December 2019. When she reached out to other professionals in China, she learned that there was a new, contagious virus. All of a sudden, her contacts stopped talking to her. They told her they couldn't talk about it, but that they all needed to wear masks.
She was then silenced whenever she tried to discuss this mysterious new virus. At the time, the CCP informed everyone that the coronavirus originated from a wet market in Wuhan. But Yan believes that it was actually man-made and created in the lab to be released on purpose, though mainstream media has asserted for a while that Covid-19 was not created in a lab. In 2023, studies suggested that the virus likely did come from a lab leak, but there's still no confirmation on whether or not it's man-made. George Gao, former director of China's CDC, says it's possible that Covid-19 did get leaked from a lab. "You can always suspect anything. That's science," he told BBC. "Don't rule out anything."
This information was withheld from us for years, even when the public demanded answers for the outbreak. This withholding of information seems like an abuse of power, it appears as though it was systematically hidden. It's no wonder why the public continues to distrust agencies and "experts." I suspect these hidden truths, many of which we've suspected for years, will come out soon. It's too bad it's only happening after millions of people received an experimental vaccine.
