In the United States, we don’t have royalty, we have Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

After two years of dating, America’s sweetheart singer-songwriter Taylor Swift will marry America’s football hero and Kansas City Chiefs player, Travis Kelce in less than a month, according to multiple reports. Or as Taylor put it in their wedding announcement, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Americans coast to coast are thrilled. The excitement is palpable, in what is sure to be the most high-profile American wedding since JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette’s wedding three decades ago. Taylor and Travis have kept tight-lipped about their wedding details, but the closer we get to the reported date, the more details emerge.

Curated from all the latest reports, here’s your ultimate guide to everything we know so far about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming nuptials:

“Miss Americana”

WHEN: In true Americana fashion, it’s widely reported that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will tie the knot around the July Fourth weekend. And in case you’re wondering how we know, we have New York City’s Mayor Mamdani to thank for that. Apparently, the mayor slipped in a press conference and shared that the wedding coincides with NYC’s flurry of activities surrounding the July Fourth weekend and America’s 250th celebration. Since that slip, multiple news outlets have confirmed that Friday, July 3, is the official wedding date.

WHERE: This is where it gets interesting! Sources say Taylor wanted to initially hold the wedding at her gorgeous Gilded Age Rhode Island estate (reminding us of another celebrity we know, looking at you, Jennifer Lawrence). However, it’s rumored there wasn’t enough room for all the desired guests, so Taylor and Travis had to pivot.

And pivot, they did, to the largest and busiest city in the country, New York City. From multiple reports, the couple is said to wed in the heart of midtown Manhattan at Madison Square Gardens. According to TMZ, they’ve booked the Gardens for three days straight for setup, wedding, and tear-down. It’s even rumored that Taylor Swift is practicing a special song to perform at her own wedding in full concert style. “Taylor isn’t planning a traditional wedding,” one source claimed. “She’s creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience. People close to her fully expect some kind of musical moment.” Fans point to her recent appearances at the Madison Square Garden Knicks games as a nod that this is her soon-to-be wedding venue.

But not everyone is buying it. Hollywood expert Rob Schuter talked to sources close to Taylor Swift who had the following to say: “Most people I know think it’s a decoy,” said one source. “The theory is that guests will be told to meet at MSG, then they’re put on buses and taken somewhere else.”

“It’s Nice To Have A Friend”

WHO’S COMING? There are estimated to be over 1,000 people in attendance at the wedding. That will include family, friends, celebrities, and regular citizens who have helped Taylor and Travis over the length of their careers. It’s reported that in an effort to keep numbers down and privacy up, Taylor and Travis have instituted a “no ring, no bring” wedding policy, asking their guests not to bring a plus one unless they're married or engaged. A few celebrities have confirmed their attendance such as: Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson, Ed Sheeran, Zoe Kravitz, Graham Norton, Karlie Kloss, and Travis Kelce’s coach, Andy Reid. Some other big names rumored to be in attendance are: Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham, Cara Delevingne, and of course Travis’ brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Kylie Kelce.

WEDDING PARTY: Taylor Swift is known for her tight-knit inner circle and girl squad. So, all eyes are on who she will choose to stand alongside her as her bridesmaids. So far, there are two confirmed bridesmaids: Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid. Eagle-eyed Swifties pointed out that Selena’s husband, Benny Blanco, may have even previewed one of the bridesmaids’ gifts in a recent viral video. According to some reports, Selena and Gigi “will pay tribute to her and Kelce’s love story at the wedding by playing a video around 'six or seven minutes long' that’ll showcase unseen moments from the couple’s relationship.”

Other names have been batted around as potential bridesmaids for Taylor’s wedding party. We will likely see Swift’s childhood friends like Ashley Avignone, Abigail Anderson Berard, and Brittany Maack (Taylor served as Maid of Honor at her wedding). Potential celebrity bridesmaids are said to be Gracie Abrams, the Haim sisters, or even tour mate Sabrina Carpenter.

On Travis Kelce’s side, it’s believed that his brother, Jason Kelce, will be his best man and some of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates are tapped as groomsmen.

WEDDING PLANNER: Despite reports that Taylor politely turned down Anna Wintour’s offer of wedding planning help, it was just recently revealed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce locked in their official wedding planner. They went with the uber-selective, highly sought-after Mark Seed. Wedding planner to the stars, Seed has orchestrated weddings for Jennifer Lawrence, Margaret Qualley, and Jack Antonoff, to name a few. Seed is said to be well-versed in multi-million-dollar weddings with a strong eye for architectural design. And most importantly, he’s well known for never talking about his clients.

WEDDING THEME: It's no secret that, lately, Taylor Swift has been deeply inspired by America’s late 19th-century Gilded Age. Key sources say Taylor plans to fashion her wedding after her favorite American era. Reports claim there’ll be Vanderbilt-era opulence and candlelit formality. One friend states, “Taylor wants you to feel like you’ve stepped into a novel…she’s building a world.” Another dishes, “She wants a ceremony that feels regal, timeless, and so elaborate it transports guests straight to 1883.” And if her engagement location is any indication, we can expect lush arrays of English roses and peonies.

WEDDING DRESS: Understandably, everyone is wondering what dress Taylor will say yes to. There’s speculation all over the internet as to what style, cut, fabric, and more Taylor will choose to don on her special day. Sources say Taylor really wants a big dramatic reveal moment and is so committed to keeping her wedding dress under wraps that she’s commissioned six dresses! To keep people guessing, any of the six dresses could be chosen. Designers and all involved have had to sign NDAs to prevent the information from leaking. Some Swiftie fans are convinced that Taylor’s recent corseted red-carpet look is an easter egg for her future wedding dress designer.

Although we may not know exactly what Taylor’s wedding dress looks like, many think they know whose style is inspiring her. One insider told the Daily Mail, “Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos of Elizabeth Taylor when she was making her music video for that song that she became enamored with the movie queen’s style…So when she started thinking about her wedding dress, she looked up Elizabeth’s old gowns online.” It’s heavily rumored that Taylor’s wedding dress is being constructed to resemble Elizabeth Taylor’s 1950 gown from her wedding to Conrad Hilton (Paris Hilton’s great-uncle). And that Taylor may also ask to borrow some of Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry from her estate.

“How Did it End?”

Right now, we may not know all of the details of Taylor and Travis’ upcoming wedding, but that’s the fun of it! And if Taylor Swift has taught us anything, it’s that she loves a good surprise. After years of songs about heartbreak, healing, and finding lasting love, Taylor Swift is in her most romantic era yet.

In less than a month, America’s sweethearts will be walking down the aisle, and we can’t wait to celebrate them when they finally say, “I do.”
