We all have a friend who always looks camera-ready: clear skin, long lashes, moisturized, waist snatched, etcetera. What if I told you she wasn’t born with the Pantene-perfect hair or glow? What if I said that she just knows things you don’t?

Luckily for you, we’re not gatekeeping. We’re spilling the real beauty secrets that’ll get you ready for hot girl summer. The tips are cheap, simple, and actually work; however, you have to stay consistent. We’ve added in a few more from fellow internet beauty obsessives to give you the ultimate master list.

Green Tea in the Morning, Spearmint at Night

Start your day with green tea, end it with spearmint.

An influencer named Sayna (@saynasheikhh) swears by green tea with breakfast to load up on antioxidants. “It’s amazing for our health,” she said.

She revealed her beauty secrets in a viral video, which we have to include in this piece. “Spearmint tea every single night for hormonal acne, for anxiety.” If you’re breaking out around your chin or jawline, it might actually be hormone-related, and spearmint has been studied for its anti-androgenic effects, which may help.

Hot Girl Walks

Every day. 10,000 steps. “This is the best thing you can possibly do,” Sayna said. “It’s going to make you snatch. It’s going to help you mentally.” Throw on a podcast, call a friend, or imagine you’re the main character of a 2000s rom-com with a workout montage.

Bonus tip: weighted vests.

Lymphatic Massages

Lymphatic drainage massage is the cheat code for looking snatched without breaking a sweat. It reduces puffiness, de-bloats your face and body, and gives you that sculpted, post-facial glow.

Regularly massaging your face or body helps move stagnant fluid, especially around your jawline, cheeks, and stomach. Think of it as internal cleanup that shows up externally. Tools like gua sha, ice rollers, or even your hands work.

Weekly Hair Oiling

Hair oiling is a must – at least once a week. “This is going to give you such beautiful, long, healthy, shiny, thick hair,” she said. Whether you use rosemary oil, amla oil, or a DIY castor + coconut blend, the trick is consistency. Apply to scalp, massage, braid it, and sleep with it overnight.

Drink Water Like It’s a Full-Time Job

3 liters a day, not 3 sips.  “Water is your best friend,” Sayna said. It helps with digestion, keeps your skin clear, and if you’re bloated, it’s probably because you’re not drinking enough.

Eat Your Skincare

Omega-3s like walnuts, salmon, chia seeds, and even flax oil can help with skin clarity, bounce, and glow. Sayna says, “Whatever you put in your body will show.” And she’s right.

Add collagen peptides to your coffee, throw walnuts in your oats, and stop pretending Flamin’ Hot Cheetos are lunch.

Lash Lift + Mascara Primer = Fake Extensions for Cheap

Here’s the lash cheat code:

  • Generic Careprost (aka bimatoprost) for a few months

  • DIY lash lift kits (monthly)

  • Mascara primer (Etude House is a fan favorite)

Do this right and people will ask where you got your lash extensions. Except you didn’t. You did it at home with $30 and a TikTok tutorial.

Derma-Roll Your Way to Baby Skin

You don’t have to splurge on a microneedling sesh at the MedSpa, I promise.

Purchase a derma roll online or at a store and needle your way to smooth skin. The combo of a 0.5mm and 1.5mm roller gives deeper penetration and boosts collagen production (just don’t overdo it). Once every 2–3 weeks is enough. Post-shower is prime time for absorption – apply serums like vitamin C or collagen, then use a derma roller (after disinfecting, of course).

Castor Oil Is Your Girl

The hot girls aren’t just relying on makeup and blowouts. They focus on being naturally pretty. That means thicker brows and longer lashes grown the old-school way, with no falsies or microblading involved.

Castor oil is the staple; all you have to do is rub it onto sparse areas before bed and let consistency do the heavy lifting.

Oil Pulling With Coconut Oil for White Teeth

Forget Crest Whitestrips! Another TikToker, Selina, has been oil-pulling with coconut oil for over six months and swears by the results.

“Take one spoon of coconut oil every morning, swish it, then spit it out,” she explains. The antibacterial properties of the oil help clean your mouth, fight inflammation, and whiten your teeth naturally.

Homemade Ginger Shots = Gut and Skin Reset

Store-bought wellness shots are cute until you realize they cost $5 each. Selina preps hers at home every week using ginger, lemon, turmeric, and black pepper. “They help with gut health, with cystic acne, breakouts, and also prevent you from getting sick,” she says. If your skin’s been acting up and your digestion’s been off, start here.

Face Taping Before Bed Instead of Botox

Instead of freezing your face at a medspa, tape it every night. Selina applies face tape under her eyes, across her forehead, and around fine lines to “prevent and also get rid of wrinkles.” The tension from the tape holds the skin in place overnight, training muscles and smoothing lines — all while you sleep.

Silk Caps

Pillowcases are cute, but silk sleeping caps actually stay on. They protect your hair from friction and breakage overnight, especially if you’ve oiled your hair or styled it the night before. Amazon sells decent ones for $8.

Lip and Eyebrow Tint

A good brow tint and a subtle lip tint can do more for your face than a full contour routine. Tinting adds just enough pigment to bring structure and life back into your features without screaming, “I did my makeup.” When your brows have definition, and your lips have color, your whole face looks more vibrant, even when you’re barefaced. Opt for eyebrow tints on Amazon or lip stains at Sephora!

Red Light Therapy Is the Real Deal

If your skin’s dull, inflamed, or just meh, red light therapy can help. It boosts collagen, reduces redness, and helps heal acne.

You don’t need the $500 panel either – there are handheld wands and masks for under $100. Start 3x a week for 10 minutes and see what happens.

Celebs Will Never Admit This Part

For all the skin cycling and green juice they post, most celebrities won’t tell you about the tweakments. Because while you’re loading up on spearmint tea and castor oil, they’re quietly doing baby Botox, lip filler, Sculptra, and laser facials.

They’ll gatekeep their injector’s name like it’s classified. And if they do say anything, it’s “just sunscreen and hydration.” Please. You can still glow up without tweakments and use the tips in this article, but don’t fall for the lie that celebs aren't getting work done! They are. They just don’t want you to know.
