American Medical Association Asks Big Tech And Department Of Justice To Censor Journalists Who Investigate "Gender-Affirming" Surgeries For Minors
There's an increasing amount of content online that sheds light on the predatory and irreversible surgeries and treatments that are being performed on minors in the name of "gender-affirming care." The American Medical Association is doing everything in its power to put a stop to this content, even demanding Big Tech censor accounts that question the orthodoxy of gender theory and its related procedures for minors.

Various journalists and conservative pundits have made a coordinated effort to expose the kind of surgeries and treatments that are being performed on minors in the name of gender theory. It was revealed that Boston Children's Hospital performed more than 300 "gender-affirming surgeries" on underage teenagers over the span of four years, including mastectomy and phalloplasty. Meanwhile, lecture footage from hospitals such as Vanderbilt University have been released online, showing that doctors and medical providers are promoting these types of surgeries because they are huge money makers. While the radical left has been pushing gender theory and all the related procedures on children under 18, the right is unveiling as much as possible through investigative journalism in an attempt to protect minors. But the fight is about to get even bigger and more difficult.
American Medical Association Asks Big Tech and Department of Justice to Censor Journalists Who Investigate "Gender-Affirming" Surgeries for Minors
Writer and senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute Christopher Rufo broke the news on Twitter on October 3 that the American Medical Association (AMA), a 501(c)(6) government sector lobbying association, is asking President Biden's Department of Justice and Big Tech to "censor, deplatform, investigate, and prosecute journalists who question the orthodoxy of radical gender surgeries for minors, arguing that public criticism is 'disinformation.'"
He shared a letter from the AMA, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Children's Hospital Association, written to Attorney General Merrick Garland. The letter implored Garland to intervene and stop the so-called "attacks against health care institutions." They urged him to investigate "the organizations, individuals, and entities coordinating, provoking, and carrying out bomb threats and threats of personal violence against children's hospitals and physicians across the U.S."
There was a bomb threat recently at Boston Children's Hospital, leaving many trans activists to insist that this was the fault of conservative pundits and journalists such as Matt Walsh and Libs of TikTok. There was no proven connection with the threat and these individuals, but the left has ran away with the accusation anyway.
"These coordinated attacks threaten federally protected rights to health care for patients and their families," the letter said. "The attacks are rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation, where a few high-profile users on social media share false and misleading information targeting individuals physicians and hospitals, resulting in a rapid escalation of threats, harassment, and disruption of care across multiple jurisdictions."
However, the information being released about these hospitals and the so-called "gender-affirming" care they offer to children has proven to be true, not false. Hospitals in various cities across the country are indeed performing mastectomies, phalloplasties, and more on minors. The only difference is, when the hospitals and medical providers promote these procedures, they use softer language such as "top surgery" or "affirming care."
There has yet to be a public response from the Attorney General or Big Tech, but many conservatives are bracing themselves for an onslaught of censorship in the near future.
