Alix Earle’s Workout And Exercise Routine That Helps Her Get Amazing Abs

There’s a reason Alix Earle looks the way she does, and the good news is that her routine isn’t hard to keep up with. Will her workouts burn? Yes. They will. But it’s also not as complicated as you think.

Alix Earle, the beloved TikTok “it girl,” has a wellness routine that we all can actually copy on a random Tuesday. I know it’s hard to believe, but trust me on this.

Despite her amazing physique (I know we all saw it on Dancing with the Stars), her workouts and meals are not a secret; in fact, they are scattered across her “Get Ready With Me” videos, “What I eat in a day” clips, and a handful of interviews. When you pull them together, you get a pretty clear picture of how she moves, eats, and takes care of herself.

This is a breakdown of what she actually does, based only on what she has said herself and what has been shared in her interviews. And if you had to sum up her philosophy, it would be the sentence she repeats on camera: “Balance is key. Do not restrict yourself.”

Her Iconic Workout Routine

The Non-Negotiable: 12–3–30 on the Treadmill

Alix uses something that is accessible to all of us: the treadmill. “My routine often depends on what I’m feeling that day, but I usually start off with 12-3-30 on the treadmill and then go from there,” she said.

That viral format means:

  • Incline: 12%

  • Speed: 3 mph

  • Time: 30 minutes

In her full-body workout TikTok, she shows exactly that. This method is a go-to for Victoria's Secret Angel trainers, which you can read more about here. For someone who is “on the go a lot,” as Alix puts it, the 12-3-30 gives her a predictable way to start her sessions without thinking too hard.

Strength Training: Simple Circuits, Lots of Reps

Once the treadmill is done, she moves into weights. After her 12–3–30 block, she picks a body area to focus on, uses weights, and usually closes with an ab routine from YouTube. In her own “full body workout routine” video, that looks like the following:

Arms

Grab a pair of 7.5-pound dumbbells (or whatever works for you) and cycle through basic arm movements. She explains that she does each move 12 times and repeats all of them three times. She targets her biceps, shoulders, and upper back.

Glutes and Legs

Then she moves on to glutes, and the weights get heavier. But don’t get intimidated! The moves are super easy to follow:

  • Hip thrusts: Alix uses about 50 pounds across her hips, with a pad or mat between the dumbbell (you can use a bar) and her body, so it does not hurt. You can do this for 12 reps, repeated three times. Squeeze at the top!

  • Cable side kicks and kickbacks: Use an ankle strap attached to the cable machine. Start with 15 pounds. Do some side kicks for 12 reps, three rounds. Do another set of kickbacks, 12 reps, for three rounds again.

  • Goblet squats: Using 12-pound dumbbells, do 12 squats for three rounds. There is a final round where Alix sits into the squat and does small pulses for about 30 seconds, which she admits had her “in so much pain” by that point.

Abs

You thought we were finished?! This is Alix Earle we're talking about, and her ab finisher is long and dense. She runs through:

  • 12 toe touches

  • 12 crunches

  • 12 bicycles

  • 12 Russian twists

  • 12 full sit-ups

  • 12 side-to-side ankle taps

Pilates, YouTube Routines, and “Hot Girl Walks”

Alix does not live in the weight room. She's talked about mixing in Pilates classes, YouTube workouts targeting specific areas, which she says are usually booty and abs, Daisy Keech ab routines, and Alexis Ren glute workouts. If you don’t feel like doing any of these, just walk. “When I don't have time to go to the gym or a class, I love something as simple as taking a walk around my neighborhood,” Alix said.

What Alix Earle Eats in a Day

Morning: Coffee and a Veggie Egg Scramble

Her mornings usually start with coffee, then something savory and protein-heavy. In her “What I eat in a day” video, she says, “After I have coffee in the morning, I'll start with an egg scrambled mix. I'll usually do spinach, tomatoes, and mushrooms and make it into like a little omelet.”

Midday: Parfaits, Shots, Salsa, and Greens

Lunch is loose for her. It leans snack-y, which is probably the only way to eat when you are bouncing between content and events. Midday for Alix looks like a chia parfait, an immunity shot, chips and salsa, hearts of palm, and a serving of Blooms greens powder blended into water. The influencer usually just chugs the greens and finishes them fast, which feels very on brand for someone who is constantly rushing somewhere.

Dinner: Bowls, Salads, Dumplings, and Tea

At night, the meals are more structured again, although still relaxed.

Below are some of the meals she'll make for dinner:

  • A chicken bowl with sweet potatoes, broccoli, a side of mac and cheese, and maybe a cup of tea before bed

  • A salad with hearts of palm, other veggie toppings, and a generous amount of sriracha over everything.

  • Sometimes, Alix will have soup dumplings on the side

  • Alix also likes cooking shrimp to go with her meals

Snacks: Seaweed, Cheez-Its, and Chips

In one “What I eat in a day” clip, after dinner, Alix keeps eating seaweed chips, Cheez-its, sour cream, and onion chips, which she calls her favorite.

One thing I love about Alix is that she never claims this routine is universal. She is clear that “everybody is different and needs to find what works for them,” and that what you are seeing is simply what has worked for her so far. Looking at her, it’s pretty obvious why I trust she knows what she’s doing — that said, I’m definitely locking in and doing the Alix Earle routine.
