Hannah Strege
Hannah Strege, LSW, is a social worker based in Colorado and the founding president of Wonderfully Made Adoption Services International. She is widely known for her unique personal story as the first adopted frozen embryo in the world, having been conceived through IVF, cryopreserved, and later adopted. Her life has placed her at the intersection of reproductive technology, adoption, and child welfare long before she had a voice in any of them.
Today, Hannah works directly with children, adolescents, and families, bringing a clinical and deeply personal lens to conversations surrounding identity, attachment, and the long term impact of how we create families. Her advocacy focuses on the dignity of every human life, including those in their earliest stages, and the importance of centering the lived experiences of children in discussions about IVF, embryo adoption, and third party reproduction.
Through her writing and professional work, she invites a shift in perspective, encouraging both policymakers and the public to listen first to those whose lives began within these systems.
